ReadyNAS Pro 6 install not allocating all available space
Two issues: Win 8.1. Six 4TB HGST Deskstar NAS HDs. Connected via Ethernet to router. I can see it fine on the network. X-RAID2 only allocates 8.1TB (RAID 0 allocates 10). 1.673 TB each drive....
What firmware is on the pro 6?
It's not completely clear from your post, did you actually do a factory default with all 6 drives in place?
If you did, what happens if you factory default with 1 drive in place?
What drives were in the nas before this procedure started?
You don't want to use raid 0 do you, so perhaps just factory default into Xraid .
Those drives are of course not on the HCL for any readynas model, which has to be considered here. Why did you choose them?
