Readynas Remote 4.1 as nerdrive in win 7
Hi How can i set up readynas share as netdrive in win 7 I am new with this! Step by step instruction if someone knows how to pls.
With ftp connection
Filezilla says:
Verbinde mit x.187.xxx.154:21... "THE IP from Readynas Remote"
Status: Verbindung hergestellt, warte auf Willkommensnachricht...
Status: Initialisiere TLS...

Status: TLS-Verbindung hergestellt.

With sftp:
Status: Verbinde mit 5.187.xxx.154...
Antwort: fzSftp started, protocol_version=4
Befehl: open "anonymous@x.187.108.154" 22
Fehler: Network error: Connection refused
Fehler: Herstellen der Verbindung zum Server fehlgeschlagen
I think I have wrong ftp setup on readynas.
How do i setup ftp accss over internet with filezilla?
Is your router IP 5.187.X.X? Or are you trying to use a ReadyCloud/Remote IP address?
sftp support isn't completely there, so you should use ftps.
My configuration looks like this:
NAS internal IP is 10.0.0.10
Ports forwarded in router: 54320-54325
ReadyNAS configuration:
FTP port:54320
Authentication Mode:user
Allow Upload Resume: enabled
Passive Ports: 54321-54325
Enable FTPS. (With OS6 you can require FTPS).
Masquerade is disabled. (On some NAS you need to set it the NAS name to disable it).
FileZilla:
Host: DDNS name
Port:54320
Protocol: FTP
Encrypyion: Requie explicit FTP over TLS
Logon type: Normal
User: admin
Password: adminpassword

Can you now map this drive ore share as netdrive in windows 7 usin ftp settings.
What has to be written in windows when conecting netdrive with ftp

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you using a web site like http://whatismyipaddress.com/
If not, try that one, and use the IP address it tells you.

If you do this, you will need to turn masquerading on in the NAS.
