ReadyNAS RN10200 Failed Firmware Update
Hello,
I tried to update the latest firmware directly connecting to the IP address of the NAS by web interface.
Now power up the NAS, remains with the flashing blue light on the power button.
I already tried using the recovery tool via USB stick (downloaded from here: http://kb.netgear.com/29952/How-do-I-use-the-USB-Recovery-Tool-on-my-ReadyNAS -OS-6-storage-system) but when I run the "Netgear USB storage Recovery Utility" program by entering the data of both product (ReadyNAS OS6) and model (RN102) in the drop down menu does not me you can enter the path last downloaded firmware.
How can I do? There is another tool that you can use?
Look kindly feedback about it.
Best regards.
Maurizio

You need to put the ARM firmware image in the Marvell folder as per the instructions.
I would suggest using the 6.6.1 beta firmware.
Which firmware did you update from btw?

Thank you for your reply.
I do not remember the version of the firmware but it was the last available on the website.
There is a recovery process? I only need to insert the USB key created with the recovery tool and turn on the NAS?
Unfortunately I do not know the IP address of the NAS.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

So you're saying you updated from 6.5.2 to 6.6.0?
You can see if you can find the I.P. of the NAS using RAIDar: http://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads
The USB Recovery Tool is in a location where there's a bunch of different folders. One is a Marvell folder. If you put the ARM firmware image in there then when you run the tool you'll be able to select that firmware image when you run the tool.
