ReadyNAS RN4220X Health LED on
Hello, I have a ReadyNAS RN4220X that the red Health LED is on solid. I may have accidentally deleted any log file that may have told me why it is on. How can I determine what is causing this light to be lit? I have tried rebooting this device, and upgraded the firmware to 6.2.3, but the light stays lit with no indication of what is wrong. Nothing on the performance tab of the Admin page shows anything wrong.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Jim Cook

- jimc1438AspirantThanks Nhellie, that certainly sounds like my setup. Each PSU is plugged into different APC UPS units. The KB article states that the light should go out after a restart. I know that I did reboot the unit for the last firmware update, but the light stayed on. Do you need to do a manual reboot, or a complete shutdown/restart or is the automatic reboot for a firmware update sufficient to turn off the light?
- NhellieVirtuosoThe way I understand it is you need to do a manual restart for it to go away, but again it will come back once it receives a power interrupt signal from the UPS. The way to have it completely off is to follow the procedure (at your own risk) on this link:
