You do not need RAIDar at all, it's just an aid to see the status of the NAS and a link to the admin web page (https://ip.of.your.nas/admin) (using the real IP, of course) BUT, your old NAS is limited to TLS V1.1, which has been removed by most browsers. Note that if you really have a V2, then there is an add-on that can enable TLS 1.2 after you've gained access via TLS1.1. But many think they have a V2 when they really have a V1 due to poor labeling by Netgear. A real V2 says so on the front label. If it just says V2 elsewhere, it's just a small hardware mod from the original Duo (which we call a V1 here, though it's not labeled that anywhere).
There is a way via SSH to change access on a V1 to simple HTTP (no S), avoiding the use of TLS.
