ReadyNAS RND4210 wont power up

I have an older RND4210 (circa 2008) and we had a nasty storm this weekend, lost power for about 16 hours and now it wont power back up.  Not sure what my options are?  Thinking up upgrading to a new ReadyNAS but not sure how I go about getting the data from the old one to the new one?  Thinking of getting a ReadyNAS RN20423D.

    Hello Seachicken,

If your old NAS is totally not turning on, no LEDs at all. You can get a replacement for the PSU from support center. See instructions here how to replace the internal part. If you will be able to power it up with the replacement PSU you will be able to retrieve your data. Otherwise, data recovery contract is needed. You cannot use the disks on a newer model of NAS and expect the data to be intact and accessible.

Please contact support center for the PSU replacement.

    Regards,
