ReadyNAS Ultra 2 - Forgotten admin pass, OS-reinstalled, only Shares and Password visible
Hi, I have an ReadyNAS Ultra 2 which has been stowed away during a move. Now when I start it up it refuses to let me log in to the NAS, I can only see "Shares" and "Password" tabs and it refuses ...
I will be sure to take that into consideration, this will probably be an interim sollution hence my external power brick has started emitting coil whine. So I believe the life expectancy is highly restricted, unless it's possible to find replacements parts for these legacy models?
The external power supply is easily replaced. The rest, no. It's a 12V 5A supply with a standard connector on it. I recommend you go with a supply rated for security cameras rather than LED lighting, as they tend to have better regulation.
