readynas ultra 4 failed: volume not found. #25615160
Hi, My Ultra 4 failed after rebooting after a RAID scub and not the C: drive cannot be found. My case ID is #25615160 Can anyone advise how i can mount the drives so i can retrieve the data? ...

It doesn't look good to me from what I saw in the logs.
But for situations like this the logs don't necessarily give the full picture.
You could consider whether you want to purchase data recovery but do note that it may be unsuccessful.

Hi mdgm,
does it help if i pop in another "old" disk?
or can i mount the disks individually on to read data off it?

With RAID 5 you need n-1 disks to read the data where n is the number of disks. So two disks dropping out of a RAID layer is not good.

If the NAS is on, it will just reformat the drive. If the NAS is powered down it shouldn't do that, but you will likely end up with an inconsistent array.
