ReadyNAS104 - Destroy / Delete Volume From Admin Page
Hi,
Just a very simple question:
I have a redundant Volume Display (Jim_3) on my admin page that I no longer use, the disk has been reformated for another Ready NAS. I belive if I use the Destroy this should delete this from my admin page without effecting my other two volumes.
Is this correct?
Screenshot attached.
Thanks,
jimcocteau
You can actually DESTROY the volume but make sure you have enough backup of any data you have on your NAS, This is for security.
DESTROYing Jims_3 should not affect other volumes. What I mean was the full set of logs if you can resend it to us.
My apologies I didn't notice that I missed mentioning Logs :(
Regards

Hi jimcocteau
Deleting a volume should not affect other volumes on your NAS, I am concerned however how your volumes are setup. Can you download the NAS and send it to us.
Regards
Hi Marc_V
I am presuming you mean the System Configuration when you say NAS?
These have been sent to NSBU_Logs@netgear.com
I know I have the JBOD Volume, this is a legacy and from the first configuration and will be replaced with a new drive in the next few days.
