REBOOT command from ssh / cron

Hi guys,

I want to   use the reboot command from crontab.

It works in ssh from command line but when i put into cron it does not run.

05 0 1-28/3 * * reboot

 I'm running 6.9.4 OS6...

Any pointers??

Regards

  • If someone else want to have their OS6 readynas  reboot gracefully every third day you could put this in your crontab:

    1 5 1-28/3 * * systemctl reboot

I figured it out finally..  :smileyhappy:
