Rebuilding ReadyNAS NV+ for Apple TV

1) if appletv2 can stream from the firefly server, then yes, otherwise you will probably have to have to have itunes library running on a mac that has the nas files loaded
2) if the nas runs with the current drives, you should update the firmware first, otherwise it does not matter other than to save a second reset after updating with the new drives
3) is what easy to do? the nas is easily accessible/configurable from either pc or mac, since most of the configuration is done via a web browser
4) there a few ways,
- you can use the firefly server, assuming the atv2 can use it
- you can use readydlna server, assuming the atv2 can use it
- you can store your media on the nas, but use itunes on your mac to read the files off the nas into itunes library and share the itunes library
