Reclaim Deleted Space
I am using the ReadyNAS Ultra 2 in Windows. I deleted some large files but the NAS still shows no available space. There should be because the files totaled over 30GB in size. You can empty the trash ...
Thanks for your reply. I never would have found that without searching for what the CIFS tab is. Wow... unintuitive. It was unchecked so I would think the deleted space would have been reclaimed. I checked it at set it to 1 day and 10MB to recycle. In Windows there was no option to empty the trash, I guess because it wasn't enabled. It still shows no available space, even after deleted a 24GB file.
