Recreating Shares
I have an issue with the 104 where one of my hds has died i am waiting on a replacement in the mean time im trying to recreate the shares that were on that drive on another drive it will not allow me ...

I confirm that there is a /etc/frontview/proftpd folder for FTP config.
/etc/frontview/proftpd/Shares.conf and /etc/frontview/samba/Shares.conf are probably the files you seek.
I believe the sqlite database should be located in /var/readynasd/db.sq3
That said, I would create a support ticket and get the support to do it if this is possible, or just wait for the replacement as the manipulation on the sqlite database may void the support until a factory reset.
You may also be able to use the mount command to recreate the arborescence and point to another resource without editing the conf. Not sure it is possible though.
