Redirect default web access
Hi,
I have followed the guide for creating a personal web server from the following url: http://www.readynas.com/?p=135
1. I created a share called website. Given it W/R access under CIFS and ready only under HTTP.
2. From the Services/Standard File Protocols tab, I selected the website share from the drop-down list in the HTTP box to redirect default web access. To prevent the web share list from showing when you access http://<readynas_ip>. Instead it will automatically redirect to http://<readynas_ip>/website. Save Changes.
3.Created the index.htm page under the share website.
But when I write my http://<readynas_ip> I still get to the sharelist and not redirected to my http://<readynas_ip>/website.
The other steps were successful of port forwarding on my router for port 80 and forwarding to a public ip http://<public_ip> and also forwarding a external HTTP access to my public ip. But the step of redirecting to the default web access does not work. Anyone who has a clue why?
