Remote time Machine seems to not finish
Hi all, MBP OSX 10.11.6 TimeMachine backup to RN31400 running v.6.6.0 seems huge at 1500+ GB. User claims that MBP drive is 500GB so why would the backup grow so large? Possibly related the Time...

Time Machine keeps some backup history. That's how when you click on the Time Machine icon in the menubar and click Enter Time Machine you can go back in time and get files/folders back from the past.
You can set a limit on the size of the TM backup (but it would be too late for that now. You'd have to delete the Time Machine backup, set the quota and then do a fresh backup if you wanted to do that).

Do you know roughly how large the backup was before upgrading to OS 6.6.0 and you got the trouble with "never ending" Time Machine backup?
