Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk#3,5,6,7,8,9,10,11
Good Morning.
I hope to be assisted with an issue I am experiencing. We have a ReadyNAS 4312 running on model version 6.10.10, we had a disk failure and got it replaced however I am getting this message "Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk#3,5,6,7,8,9,10,11". I assumed replacing the disk would rebuild the volume as we on RAID 6 but nothing.
Is there a fix where I can use to remediate this issue that I am having without the possibly to creating a new volume?
Thanks

The first step is to download the full log zip, and see if you can figure out why the volume isn't mounting.

Hi StephenB
I have downloaded the logs, which log should I look at?

Usually I start with
- dmesg.log
- disk_info.log
- kernel.log
- mdstat.log
- readynasd.log
- status.log
- system.log
- systemd-journal.log
If you'd like, I can take a look. Put the full zip into cloud storage, and send me a PM (private message) using the envelope link in the upper right of the forum page. Include a download link to the logs (making sure that the permissions are set so anyone with the link can download).
