Removing duplicates

Hi
Like many my system is riddled with photo copies. Both on my drives and nas.

Is it possible to use scan software on the nas over the network?

I also haven't found a package that does it all. Ideally routes through all drives and finds all copies .

They all seem to want you to select folders but I have photos everywhere. And then organise them so I can then start a proper filing system.

I have Picassa but not all photos seem to import .and it's stopped working on iPhone and ipad a main source of snaps.

Any input would be great.
