Rename the USB stick
Hi,
I can't remane the USB stick.
I have 6 USB that I backup on and they have different names. USB_FLASH_X
I must have the same name on all USB_FLASH_1

Thanks.
I have the ReadyNAS_Duo NV+v2
5.3.5

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe ReadyNAS doesn't work that way. A different name is assigned to each USB stick.
Why do you want the same name for each USB stick? - palbrynAspirantI use Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server take importen backup on them every day.
I can not set up multiple backup jobs, there are more then one people who change the USB stick.
I do not know what, USB_FLASH_1 or 2, etc. which are inserted.
I have used this solution on a Buffalo NAS before, it worked ok.
Needed more space, but now I cannot use this NAS :? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe NAS gives each USB stick a different name. Could you not backup to a share on the NAS, then backup that share the USB key using a Dashboard backup job?
- palbrynAspirantThank you, I have now tested the choice I have not seen before "USB Device (Front Port)"
Has only been tested in daschboard Share USB_FLASH_X
Thanks..
