Personally I'd go with 2 TB, since the prices are quite similar (at least in the US).
The western digital wd20efrx is a good choice, though you might need to run a utility to change the head parking threshold.
The 1TB model is the wd10efrx.
Both are intended for NAS, and have longer warranties then consumer desktop drives (3 years instead of 1).
