Ok so I have a few more questions regarding this.
So ive confirmed my firmware is 5.3.11 and therfore am using ReadyNAS NV+ v2 ARM based.
Am i correct in thinking ARM based is the CPU architecture ?
Next is 5.3.11 the default Firmware for this Nas unit as shipped from the factory ?
Can the firmware be hacked ?
If the firmware can be hacked how do I ensure it hasnt ?
How difficult / risky is it to reinstall the OS as im thinking this should be quicker than a Factory Reset as it would require a rebuild of the XRaid2 Array ? and that takes a long time so an OS install will solve my problem and be a lot faster ?
Sorry for all the questions but im moving lowly untill im sure I know what im doing.
Thanks again for all your help guys n gals.
