Retrospective Encryption RN314

Hi All

 

When creating a partition you have the option to encrypt it.   Is it possible to enable that after the partition is created or is the the only option to delete and recreate it?

 

Using 6.8.1 currently.

    You can't retrospectively encrypt a volume - so you'd need to delete it and then recreate it.  Uninstall your apps first (as they are stored on the data volume).

        It would be great if encryption could be applied retrospectively, so perhaps post that in the idea exchange.  It's probably not easy to do though.
