Reusing a PC Drive in a ReadyNAS Pro

I want to expand the capacity of my ReadyNAS Pro using a couple 2 TB hard drives that were initialized, formatted and used in my PC under a Windows 7 operating system. If I want to use them in a ReadyNAS Pro do they need to be reformatted or can I simply erase the data and install them in the ReadyNAS?

  • You should just be able to add them, and if supported they will be formatted by the ReadyNAS.

I have done this myself without any problems.
