RN 516 does not expand volume automatically

I have expanded my RN 516 installing 6 disks each one of 3TB capacity. I am using X-RAID, so I was expecting automatic expansion to what I would guess would be a total of abt. 14 TB. At the moment ...

That's not a good plan. The resync puts heavy stress on all disks and if one of the other disks happened to fail during the resync...

I would follow BrianL's suggestion.
