thanks for the replt mdgm,
I have Default access disabled, then below i have boxes checked for Write enabled hosts and for root privilage-enabled hosts.
The entries for both read 10.27.1.30,10.27.1.38
I'm using the share happily on esxi4 (10.27.1.38) just not 5.
