RN102 - Add disk without RAID

Hi,

I have a single 4 TB drive and want to add a second 4 TB drive but I don't want or need data protection. I want the second drive to add the full capacity of the drive (less whatever housekeeping space the OS requires) to my server.

Is this possible? Looking at the manual it seems that X-RAID will automatically add the second disk as protection for the first and won't increase total capacity. With FlexRAID it seems I get to choose the RAID level but what if I don't want RAID at all?

Thanks.

Flexraid includes jbod. I have two independent disks in my RN102 (one volume on each).

First you'd convert your existing volume from xraid2 to flexraid. Then you'd install the second drive, and create a new volume on it.
