RN102 Admin page & SMB/AFP shares offline
I recently upgraded the system to firmware 6.7.5 from 6.7.2 I've been having lots of problems since V6.7.x with Readycloud access so decided to disconnect the device from ReadyCloud & re-Discover it...

Memory is soldered into the system board in the RN100 series, so it cannot be upgraded.
Are you saying the https://nas-ip-address/admin fails when you are on your local network (using the real nas ip address of course)?
Do you recall what services/apps you have running on the NAS?

Yep! Having tried https://nas-ip-address/admin many times I get the splash screen then a progress bar that crawls across the page followed eventually ( a full minute or two) by screen saying that the admin page is not available.
since posting the query I have removed one of the two (mirrored) disks & tried a forced shutdown (switched off power) then restarted the system.
A fresh attempt to get the admin page did succeed but although the top level shares were displayed no amount of trying would show their contents.
there was also a message about something to do with btrfs. I wonder if I should try reload the OS from the boot menu

I forget to mention services.
I had these running:-
SMB AFP DLNA ANTIVIRUS UPNP HTTPS
plus the security camera app
======
I have now succeeded in getting to the admin page (using both https://{ipaddress}/admin and https://{ipaddress} with nothing after that)
Having read the user manual again I have turned off AFP DLNA and stopped the security camera app (testing complete)
the system summary now says the volume is "degraded" with about 282GB free of 2TB

A disk might have failed. Are you able to download the logs? RAIDar can do that w/o you needing to log into the admin web UI.
If you get in again, you might want to temporarily turn off AV - and if the volume quota is enabled (on the volume settings wheel) try disabling it.
