RN102, Mix Raid 0 and Raid 1?
Hi guys, just got an RN102, I'm gonna fill it with 2xWDRED2TB, is it possible to have this configuration? 2x800GB (1.6TB) Raid 1 iSCSI LUN for backing up my linux server and storing its bigger files...

Ah, I think you may be able to setup a raid 1 volume of 1 tb then use the 2 tb space for a non-redundant volume. I am not sure how to do this though. StephenB has posted that it is possible, but I can't find a method.

If you had a 4 bay unit then you could set up a raid 1 volume on 2 disks and have another disk as a separate volume. Even if this is possible, this wouldn't really be an efficient use of space though as you could a have a 3 disk raid 5 volume with the same overall capacity and setup shares /LUNs on this volume.
