RN10200 IP address not working for admin, RAIDar doesn't find, still sharing files
Hello; I can't access the admin page via my static address, and can't find a new address assigned by the router in the DHCP lists. RAIDar (v6.1 downloaded today) doesn't find the device on my su...

Stephen;
I had been pinging by address. When I tried the device name, it returned a IP6 address - apparently my router was set to provide that schema as well as IP4. The ping 'woke up' the regular IP4 address, and I could access the admin page.
I did a backup of the data, and will do a reset and reconfiguaration (it's currently on 6.2.2), and start over from scratch.
I downloaded the logs, is there any paticular log I should check to see why it may have lost the responses to IP4 traffic just to be sure (if it wasn't a router issue...)
Thanks for the advice, I never thought to ping via devicename.

Edit: if you were able to download the logs using RAIDar then the following isn't the issue:
This problem may be caused by an uninstallation of an app. There is a known issue which was fixed in the next release.
If this is the issue then it would be quick to fix remotely. Alternatively a scratch disk could be used to update the firmware, then you could power down, remove the scratch disk, then put your disks back in (same order as before).

In addition to what mdgm says, if you aren't using ipv6, then you might want to disable ipv6 in your router (and also in the NAS when you get it back up).
