Ok great thanks for the tip. I have just updated to the newest version of plex tonight. I'll see if that makes a difference. How do I manually rescan the metadata? Are you referring to updating the library data for my media in plex?

Yes.

 

FWIW, I wish there was a way to turn the on-line searches completely off for audio, but that doesn't seem possible.
