I will look at that now.
Is it worth doing an OS Reinstall or will I lose the data if I do that?
I am able to get SSH access direct to the box and can login if that helps?

Further news.
I was able to restart the NAS from the command prompt. Gets up to 99% and sits like that for many minutes.
During this time, admin page and Shares are active.
The Display channges to "Fail to Start" and at that point the Admin Page stops being avaialble able to shares disconnect.
Still thinking an OS Reinstall is whats needed? but again, will this mean I will lose data?

An OS reinstall shouldn't hurt your data. It will reset the admin password of your NAS to password, and it will reset the network interface to use DHCP (which is the default).
Though I don't think it is likely to solve your problem.
