RN104 inactive volumes after addition of further drive
Hi,
Apologies for this, I know this question has appeared before, but my understanding is limited.
I have expanded the memory on the NAS by adding a mother drive (4TB added to 2 2TB drives). The system is primarily used for time machine backups, but some extra backup of other data.
Once I added the drive, it went through a long process of resending, but I am now left with a situation where there are no visible files on the machine, and the NAS is instructing me to remove inactive volumes 1,2,3.
There is data I would like to retrieve from the system so if there is anyway to recover, I would be v grateful.

Is there any indication on what went wrong with the volume expansion? In particular, did one of the two existing drives fail during the resync?
- It’s possible, it seemed for a short period that disk 1 failed but I can’t see anything about that now. I don’t know how to interpret the logs or what to do about them.
