RN10400 VIDEO FILES NOT IN CORRECT FOLDERS

when transfering video file to certain folders all seems to be ok until i look for them through the smart tv the most recent file seem to collect in the same folder as the start folder can someone help thanks

  • Yes I think it did prob when 1 before most recent update (last couple days)

    DLNA organizes media in it's own way (for instance, grouping audio, pictures, videos) and not reflecting the folder structure in the shares.

     

    I don't know of a good way to fix that.  You could try using plex instead of ReadyDLNA I guess.

      The system has worked for a couple of years and suddenly on smart tv newly add files are sitting in the root and when I access via pc all looks fine. Do you think disable DLNA REBOOT then 're enable will help. Thanks for your response.

        What firmware are you running?  Did this begin right after a firmware update?

         

        A manual scan might be the next step (system->settings->services->ReadyDLNA).
