Ok, managed to clean up.
/dev/md0 3.7G 2.4G 1.2G 68% /
Still not anywhere close to the 30% full that is usual.

But I’ve got a lot of issues with the admin page not loading.
I’ve rebooted the NAS loads of times and it works for a bit but then goes back to the screen where it says loading and never actually loads the admin page. It’s stuck there forever in a loop or it fails and says can’t connect to admin page.
There might be some corruption of the config files, due to the full partition.
One option is to make/update your backup, do a factory default, and then set up the NAS again (restoring files from the backup). Painful, but often faster than trying to diagnose and repair.

Hmm, pretty disruptive. Would updating help? Last time I got in I noticed an update pending.
Worth a shot?

Worth a shot?If you mean plex, then no. If you are talking about 6.10.8 then it's possible. You'd still have more stuff in the OS partition than you should.
- _dmxit_Oct 22, 2022AspirantCool. I’ll see i can clear up more space.
Thanks. - _dmxit_Oct 22, 2022Aspirant
I found the clamav to be holding quite a large size.
/var/lib
613M clamav
/var
222M cores
Updated to 6.10.8.
See how it goes, admin page is currently loading.

Cores can of course be deleted.
I don't have the AV service enabled, so my clamav folder is quite old. Size is about 400M, so you could look in there and see if there are any temporary files.
Did you look for chunk* files in the root (which would come from plex). They can also be deleted.
- _dmxit_Oct 22, 2022AspirantThanks, let me give that a go.
Thanks for the help and quick responses. - _dmxit_Nov 11, 2022Aspirant
Hi,
Since upgrading to 6.10.8, i've had no issues accessing the admin page.
I have about 62% use on /dev/md0 and can't free anymore up, but it's working well.
Glad my NAS is running well again. I managed to remove the plex services from starting up.
All fixed for now.
Definitely worth somebody writing up a plex uninstaller script for the netgear NAS as it's extremely difficult to uninstall and causes bloat to /dev/md0.
Cheers for the help.
Really appreciate it.
