RN204 Adding a 2nd smaller disk
Hi Guys, New one here. I have ready nas 204 with one 4TB disk. I've set it up some time ago and now I've freed one old 500gb disk. I would like to use the 500gb as a backup. I want to make weekly...
Yeah, you're on the right track.
- Switch to flex raid (your data on the 4TB drive will not be affected)
- Add new disk
- On the volume page,create a new volume with the new smaller disk
