Yes the LCD display on the NAS shows a message saying 'Nerwork Changed"..??
The only things on the Nework are One Laptop (Panasonic CF-53 Toughbook, Win7), the Router (Netcomm N900), & the 2 NAS units. So its a small simple network. - the ip Addresses are all different.
The fault seems to have worsened - Explorer locks up - I am unable to cancel a failed transfer & explorer crashes. (Win7 restart required)
I am beginning to suspect a corupted file within windows, and the timing with the new NAS may be coincidence - though I have only had the problem once with the old NAS, and every time with the new one.
I have done a Clean restart, and it has made no difference.
Perhaps it is time to dig out the Win7 disks.

No - the error on the LCD has nothing to do with Win7.
Things to try next:
- use the other NIC port on the NAS (if you have both connected, disconnect one of them).
- try a different ethernet cable
- Try a different LAN port on your router
If those fail, contact support - you might need an RMA.

Next days off I will give it a try.
