RN316 Not expanding & "cannot connect discovery server"
Hi all, I'm trying to expand a 5 disk 3TB RN316 on X-RAID2 to a 6 disk 3TB X-RAID 2. Firmware is 6.1.9 beta RC5. Five of the drives are seagate 3tb barracudas and one of them is a seagate NAS 3tb d...
Update:
I unformatted the drives and hot plugged it in and it didn't work - no expansion. The thing is, when I pull the drive out again and check it in Windows, I can see that the RN316 partitions it into 3, but it seems to just stop there and not actually expand the volume.
Things I've also tried:
- downgrading firmware to 6.1.8
- reinstalling OS from the boot menu
- Ran seatools for dos long test - passed. no bad sectors found.
- uninstalled all apps
Any more suggestions?
