May 08, 2017Assuming there is a data backup I would put the existing disks into the new nas exactly in that sequence you had them in the faulty box and would not conduct any additional activities beforehand.

DOtn have a backup.. Only thing I was thinking to do before migrating to new one, is to give the HDD for Recovery. Since the current NAS is dead completely, i dont have much to do.

Netgear can recover the data remotely from the new ReadyNAS, or you can ship them the disks.
