RND2110: invalid security certificate
I'm not sure when this started (possibly with the upgrade to W10 long ago), but when I access the ReadyNAS Duo to administrate it, both Edge and Firefox browsers tell me that the connection is not secure and that the security certificate is invalid.
I create and exception and access Frontview, but I have to do this every time.
What does this mean, and what can I do about it?
Hello kmmcd,
This shows up because you are accessing the NAS locally and it's via LAN IP address which is normal. There is no setting on the NAS to change this as it is the browser that pulls up the error when you get to any web page that it feels is not secured because of an unknown page address. The address you use to get to the FrontView is unknown on the Internet because it is a LAN IP address. You can just simply add exemption. You might want to check this article and on the bottom of the article will give a link for setting it up on IE.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards,
