    Then try a factory reset, with only the good disk installed.  You can do that using the duo's boot menu (a bit awkward), or you can zero the good drive using Seatools.  

     

    Zeroing the drive returns it to a blank (unformatted) state.  The NAS will do a factory install automatically if you power it up with blank disks.  Then you'd set it up again.
