RNDP2000 Volume scan failed to run properly.

One thing you could do is contact paid netgear support, and ask for data recovery. https://kb.netgear.com/69/ReadyNAS-Data-Recovery-Diagnostics-Scope-of-Service.
You could also shut down the NAS, and test the disk drives in a Windows PC with vendor tools (seatools for seagate, lifeguard for western digital). There is a free software package you could try, it is possible it can read the data volume (http://www.r-tt.com/free_linux_recovery/ ) If you are using XRAID (or RAID-1), you can try that package with either disk.
Some folks have also reported success with ReclaiMe data recovery software. That is expensive (similar to Netgear's data recovery), but you can see what it could recover before you pay for it.
