rndp6000 won't boot or reset
just purchased a rndp6000
started fine, then after copying files it stopped and now won't boot
and i can't even get to the reset menu
display show readynas and fans run, but no hard drive activ...

Did you test the voltages under load? If not, the test is far from comprehensive. While there are two 12V load segments, they tend to be tied together at some point (though I have not tested that with the ReadyNAS supply). Your next best step is to try another supply. Rather than buying one that will fit internally, you can use a standard ATX supply (that perhaps you "borrow" from a PC) and plug it in externally. If that doesn't fix it, then it's something else. Without schematics, which Nethgear has never made available, further troubleshooting is mostly shots in the dark.

I checked voltage to a few of the connections I can get to and found 5v, 12v and 3.5v
Could not get to all the pin on the MB connector.
I’ve tried different combinations of memory and move the disks around.
Still won’t reset.
Is it possible for power supply to look OK on some lines, but not all?

If you power up with no drives, are you seeing the no disks status on the LCD display?
