RSync Backup Failed...Why?
I'm having trouble getting a backup job to run to completion. I've run it twice so far and it has failed both times, sadly I didn't record the error message for the first one, but this time I got thi...
Well, the news is finally good! :smileyhappy:
I ran a scrub on the main NAS (which took ages!) and waited for the backup jobs to run on Sunday night. They all ran (incrementally) to completion and I double-checked the folders using FreeFileSync and they are indeed identical.
I call that a win.

Well, the first news is that the five other, much smaller, backup jobs completed successfully after the failure of the large first job :smileyhappy:
I setup a test job that just includes the folder with the potentially suspect file in it, and that also completed fine. I guess this suggests that there is in fact nothing wrong with it.
I've just kicked off a scrub of the main NAS just in case and will let you know how that goes.
