Rsync backup jobs with spaces in directory paths - fw4.1.13
Some of my backup jobs are from directory paths that include spaces (USB Disk 1) - in the past (with firmware 4.1.6 on a NV) I had to escape the spaces (USB\ Disk\ 1) as shown in http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=30301, in order to successfully pass the connection test in frontview. After saving the job, frontview no longer shows the directory path with the escapes, but the job runs successfully.
However, I just tried the same method on an NV+ (with 4.1.13 firmware) and found that whilst escaping the spaces is still required to pass the connection test, frontview now continues to show the escapes in the directory path after saving the job and that the escapes then cause the saved backup job to fail when run. To get the job to work, the job needed to be saved with directory path entered without escapes (USB Disk 1) - the connection test fails when the path is entered this way, but the saved backup works successfully when run.
