Rsync fails - How to Reset Permissions on a USB Drive?
Hi, ReadyNas 312 Firmware 6.1.9 Rsync fails due to Error = failed: Read-only file system (30) (on USB drive) Silly part is the original backup was using Rsync however when I plug the USB drive back...
Agreed, but this was just a "single" error which was fixed by Scandisk within 30 seconds. It's one worthwhile remembering in case anybody else experiences this issue,
The new OS6 operating system must be very unforgiving compared to the x86 OS on PRO4 as the PRO4 can run on the same Rsync Job (Documentaries to USB) to the same USB drive without issue.
