Rsync fails - How to Reset Permissions on a USB Drive?
Hi, ReadyNas 312 Firmware 6.1.9 Rsync fails due to Error = failed: Read-only file system (30) (on USB drive) Silly part is the original backup was using Rsync however when I plug the USB drive back...
Personally I'd rather have a system that has greater sensitivity to errors so that I can detect a problem before it becomes too big to fix easily. It seems in this case that is exactly how OS6 has behaved.
Perhaps consider that OS4 is inferior in that it failed to detect that there was a small problem with the destination disk?
