Rsync or relicate
Hi. I am going to make a backup between two ReadyNases (RN102 and RN214) over wan. I am a bit uncertain if I should use Rsync or replicate. What are the pros and cons of Rsync and replicate? ...

Replicate uses ReadyCloud VPN technology (Remote) to connect. Netgear doesn't provide enough information on Remote to compare its security to rsync over ssh. That said, rsync over ssh should be quite secure.
Replicate is easier to set up. Rsync over ssh doesn't depend on cloud services.

My nas units are not going to be connected to the same lan. But I guess Rsync over ssh should also be fine to use over the internet? Is it as secure as replicate?
Any other pros and cons on the two methods?
