rsync question
Having finally decided on adding the RN422 to my setup, I'm in the midst of setting up and planning data copies from my older RAIDiator 4.x based system.
Having discovered rsync, am I right in thinking that if I create an unscheduled backup job, then manually start it from a PC browser/NAS admin page, I can then leave the 2 systems to it, and power the PC off?

Yes, the two NAS systems will finish the backup job even if you log out from the admin page or when the PC is off.

Perfect, thankyou. I'd assumed that once set up, the job processing would be NAS driven, but wanted to be sure I'd not overlooked any PC dependency. It'll be interesting to see how long the copies will take as this is a new approach for me, but it looks very promising so far.
