Scan problems with Logitech Media Center 7.7 on ReadyNAS

Since my post I've tried yet another version of 7.7 (LogitechMediaServer_7.7.1~33740-sparc-readynas.bin) and had two aborted scans. At least one of them seems to have been caused by a .cue file, and
- I made a point of putting "cue" in the list of files to exclude, but it's still trying to scan .cue files
- The scan log also seems to die somewhere in the process, so it's impossible to tell what file the scan has choked on - and there's still no logging of problem files (at least not that I know of).
I'm willing to help with de-bugging, but under those two conditions I just can't invest the time.
