Logitech support knows far less about it than we do - which is a sad commentary for a piece of software that's in version 7.
What you need to do is file a bug report so the developers see it. But come to think of it, I did that and it was ignored.
In my further experimentations I've discovered that mp3 files with a specific form of tagging, from one specific poster, are what's causing the scan to choke. But I know of no attempt to figure out what that tagging problem might be OR to include flagging/logging of problem files. Instead we get a Media Player - so we can play HD wide screen movies on our Squeezebox Touch?
I apologize for sounding harsh, but I'm a little tired of being a beta tester. And I'm not even doing it for free - I paid for the damn thing.
