Set Host Name

Having issues setting the hostname.

I guess I overlooked it in the Wizard but my NAS has the name nas-##-##-##. I'd like to change it to ReadyNAS.

In the Admin interface under System:General Settings there is a field for Host Name:. Doesn't work (surprise!).

I'd like to try firing up the Wizard again and seeing if I can set it there but can't find where to do that.

Or maybe via SSH?

Any clues?

What version of RAIDiator are you running?

What web browser and version are you using on your PC?
  • After set Host Name on the web page, reboot the NAS.

It worked on my NAS with 6.0.8 FW version.
  • It's a ReadyNAS Duo 2 (Arm) with the firmware RAIDiator 5.3.8.

I'm running on Mac OSX 10.8.4 with Safari 6.0.5.
